| The Metalite frames are constructed of optical steel base metal with either bronze or gold electroplate. All styles have a custom fitted .35mmPb side shield that creates a seal to the front lens for necessary protection from oblique angle exposure. Each pair is made with an adjustable non-slip silicone nose pad for maximum comfort. This style is for smaller faces. Lightweight: 65 grams. Only available with side shields. (.35mm Pb lead strip on inside of frame between glass and temple) Front lense .75mm Pb. This site is for ordering non-prescription lenses only. Classic Metallite Eyeware is available in Single Vision or Bi-focal Vision Correction. |
